This is the Girls Football Portal of DFB Medien GmbH & Co. KG, the German Football Association. It was moved from Coremedia to TYPO3 for various reasons, including financial and quality issues.
For both high performance and high availability, the system was implemented by naw on a TYPO3 cluster including DFB's existing Oracle RAC Cluster servers.
While the web design remained unchanged by customer demand, the internal features were re-written and improved. Namely, a "Live Ticker" was implemented with a highly convenient editor's interface.
Moreover, various legacy functionalities were attached via Web Service calls.
